Read Proverbs 6:6-8

Congress’ August recess began with 118 of the 235 House Democrats having called for President Trump’s impeachment – 23 since the Robert Mueller July 24th testimony –

  • And all without their leader, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

While that occurrence might befuddle some, a quick review of entomology and human history confirm not only this lack of novelty but also its apparent successes.

King Solomon advised:

“Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest” Proverbs 6:6-8, NJKV.

Ditto 20th-century African Americans, . . .

In her book, The Warmth of Other Suns, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Isabel Wilkerson revealed one of human history’s greatest and least chronicled mass migrations: from 1915-1970, an estimated six million African Americans freed themselves – from the Jim Crow South to eastern, midwestern and western U.S. – also without a leader.

Yes with no Moses, Martin (King), Marcus (Garvey), Malcolm (X), Medger (Evers) or (Elijah) Muhammad!

. . . Et al

Wilkerson: “The actions of the people in this book were both universal and distinctly American. Their migration was a response to an economic and social structure not of their making. They did what humans have done for centuries when life became untenable – what the pilgrims did under the tyranny of the British rule . . . what the Irish did when there was nothing to eat, what the European Jews did during the spread of Nazism . . . They did what human beings looking for freedom, throughout history, have often done. They left.”

When people are seeking a better life, they exit tyranny and don’t need the coaxing or directing of a leader.

Just the un-seen hand of a loving God.
